About Resurrection House, Inc.
-
Mission Statement
Resurrection House is a forward thinking, faith-based resource center committed to transitioning at-risk individuals to a path of self-sufficiency.
-
Funding
Beginning our 35th year of operation, Resurrection House does not accept funding from the city, county, state or federal government. Donations from individuals, businesses, foundations and religious groups form the core of our operating budget.
-
Volunteers Make The Difference
Operating with only a small paid staff, it is our volunteers that allows Resurrection House to provide its multitude of services to an ever-increasing number of clients. The volunteers not only donate their time but also bring caring and compassion that are instrumental in providing a nurturing and respectful atmosphere.
-
Faith Based
Resurrection House was founded in 1989 by six downtown churches. Not surprisingly, we minister to the poorest of the poor and attempt to facilitate their return to an accepting and accommodating society. Over thirty religious entities contribute to the success enjoyed by Resurrection House.
